So we’re going to talk a lot about thieves, mostly because a lot of you are sol interested in that, and why shouldn’t you be? A personal experience just for me YESTERDAY is my thumb. I was digging a hole outside last week, it was the day of our first snow fall here in Williamsburg, Ma. At the end of the day I noticed a couple of small cracks on my right thumb. I thought nothing of it as they were just cracks from the dry air, so I thought.

It turns out that a week later it was infected, RED and very, very swollen. I tried washing, peroxide, alcohol (yes, rubbing), and anything that wasn’t terribly harmful. I also tried lavender oil since it’s great for cuts and abrasions, and even burns. Well, since my thumb was already infected, the lavender wasn’t doing anything really, so I didn’t know what to do.

Then I though of my mantra, “Thieves kills bad things”. So I applied two drops every 15 to 30 minutes for the evening and the next day and POOF! Within the first 30 minutes the swelling went way down, and the pain was just about GONE! I mean, this went from absolute, mind numbing pain when I bumped my thumb into something to being able to press on it with very little pain at all.

Now, a day and a half later, the crack is on it’s way to healing instead of splitting open even more, which is what it was doing. Thank you Gary Young and your blessed Thieves oil!

 

Diffusing a situation?

So, someone asked me on the blog, “What is the benefit to diffusing Palo Santo?”  Now, keeping in mind that I AM NOT A DOCTOR OR ANY OTHER  HEALTH PRACTITIONER CERTIFIED OR OTHERWISE, I would like to offer my own personal theory from my own personal experiences.

I love the oils and I love applying them to what ever I can, yes, what ever I can including EVERYTHING around me.  This is what a diffuser helps to do; it coats you and everything around you in essential oils, the benefit being that your environment is all set to the same healing vibration you have chosen for that particular moment or day.  Not only that, but imagine a drop of Palo Santo or Thieves essential oil, or any of your favorites.  That doesn’t look very big to us, which is kind of the point here.

There is only so much we can do with it, both on the levels of inside and outside our bodies.  This is where diffusing Thieves and other oils can help.  Imagine that same drop divided into thousands of little droplets that can go anywhere in order to do their job.  Isn’t that incredible?  You can diffuse purification to breathe in and coat your lungs when if you’re a smoker or have other breathing ailments, or you can diffuse thieves to kill micro organisms AND MOLD without having to make sure you cover an entire room with single drops of thieves itself.  Aside from all of the other benefits, they just smell better.

Who here has been guilty of putting one of those pine tree shaped air fresheners in their car?  Its okay, you didn’t know any better.  Now you do.  Instead of spreading harmful chemicals all over your house and car, you can have an oil diffusing in your home or car, and not only will your environment smell better, you’ll also be able to heal vibrationally.  And yes, they make itty bitty diffusers that plug into your car’s lighter or 12v power source.  So diffuse early and often, and realize that emotional release and vibrational healing may occur.
